ABOUT DAN

Daniel (Dan) Mogoria is an educator from the Teso community of Busia County. He started in the classroom, where he watched talented young people finish school with nowhere to go.

He went on to serve as an IEBC officer in charge of Matayos sub-county, running elections from the inside. From 2017 to 2022 he was Busia County's Chief Officer for Education and Vocational Training.

In 2022 he stood for governor as the only Teso-region candidate in the race. Now he's running at home, in Teso North, where he lives and where he's building.
